Iteca is a studio for business application development, system integrations and websites. No external agencies, no subcontractors for critical code.

Who we are.

Iteca is the company Tomaž Ornik s.p., based in Zgornja Velka in the Podravje region. We develop business applications and integrations for Slovenian companies - from small to medium-sized.

We specialise in projects that solve a concrete operational problem: too much manual work, too many siloed systems, too little visibility into business operations.

We work in Slovenia and with international clients - our own SaaS platform, which we develop and manage, is localised for 27 countries.

The person behind it

Tomaž Ornik

Developer with 10+ years of experience building business applications on Laravel and React. Beyond client projects, I develop and operate two SaaS platforms in production - a multi-tenant ERP and a social mobile application.

I lead every project personally from the first call to handover. One point of contact means: you always know who is responsible.

What we don't do.

We don't promise quick fixes
Digitalisation requires understanding processes. We write code that works long-term, not fast and wrong.
We don't use subcontractors for critical code
The code that goes into production is written by us. We don't pass projects on or buy template solutions.
We don't lock you into a proprietary system
With custom development, the code is yours - documentation, server, access, all with you. With standard services, all your data is yours, exportable any time (CSV, Excel, JSON). In both cases: we never charge a "data buyout" fee when you change provider.
We don't take on every project
If we're not convinced the project solves the right problem or that we're the right partner, we'll tell you after the first call - and recommend someone else where possible.
